Most Anticipated Movies of 2009: #3 Bruno
Sacha Baron Cohen brings another one his characters to the big screen in Bruno. After the phenomenal response to Borat, Cohen has seemingly recaptured its hilarity with Bruno. Bruno was one of three of Cohen’s alter egos on HBO’s Da Ali G Show, the other two being Borat, and the host, rapper Ali G, who acted as a diplomat between politicians and the youth of America and Brittain. Bruno is a flamboyant Austrian fashionista who travels the world to get a glimpse at new styles and trends in pop culture. With great comedic stunts and even better real-life reactions from innocent bystanders, Bruno is sure to deliver gut-wrenching laughs and unbelievable moments. Sacha Baron Cohen sacrificed a lot and shied away from no stunt while filming this movie, he was reportedly arrested at a fashion show in Milan, taken to the doctor after an attempt to bleach his anus, and nearly started a riot in Arkansas.
